Our School is growing bigger!

Our school is a small, thriving primary school just south of Halesworth in North Suffolk. It currently has 76 pupils aged 4-10 years old on the school roll, taught in 4 mixed-age classes.  The catchment area of the school covers a wide rural area including the villages of Bramfield, Thorington, Walpole, Cookley,  Huntingfield, Heveningham, and parts of Linstead, Ubbeston, Cratfield and Chediston. (Transport is provided from outlying areas by Suffolk County Council.)

The school is expanding year on year to meet the needs of the local community. Following an extensive building programme in 2011 which has given us a new extension with 2 new classrooms, library and restored our central hall to it's Victorian splendour, we now have the facilities in place for upper Key Stage 2 children. From September 2012, as part of the Suffolk County Council changes from a three tier to a two tier system in this area, it will offer places to children up to age 11.

Stepping Stones Pre-School located next door to our School provides Pre-School sessions from 2 - 4 years (morning, afternoon or all day.) Lunches are provided at the Primary School. More details on the Information page or Telephone 01986 784586 for details.

Childcare is provided around the school day 7.45am to 6pm.
